NBA Draft Lottery, What Are Your Chances?

NBA Draft Lottery 2013

Teams who does not qualify for the NBA playoffs will be entered in a lottery draw for a chance to get the number 1 overall pick. One thousand ping pong balls will be placed inside the lottery machine and each ball has an assigned team according to their designated odds based on their win-loss record. The worst record gets the best chance at 25% or 250 chances out of 1000. In case of a tie or triple tie in win-loss record, their chances are added and divided by the number of tied teams and this will be their new odds. Example, teams tied for 21st and 22nd spots will have 1.4 % chance each. (1.1 + 1.7=2.8; 2.8/2=1.4). But if the teams finish without the same records, this is how it will look like in the lottery draw.
